As inquisitive players with their own time-honed heritage within Bristol’s many-limbed music scene, Typesun and Memotone are now pooling their considerable skills into a series of live collaborations. Their individual approaches have erred towards the impulse of expressive instrumentation, informed by the pastoral lilt of folk, the innate groove of jazz-funk and the pervading influence of dub.

Pooling synths, guitar, wind, sequencers and percussion, they’re inviting kindred spirits to join them in explorations of tone and space for open-ended sessions which draw on their city’s unique sonic language to head into uncharted territory. The musical possibilities are wide open, and the evident quality of their past accomplishments points to exciting intersections on pathways to unknown destinations.
